Neck Plasty

Neck Plasty, Skin Recovery Operation

Neck Plasty Operation
Before the neck plasty operation: The extent of skin stretching will be planned beforehand before the surgery based on the planning to be made by the doctor. Smoking, which adversely affects the recovery process, should be given up 3 weeks beforehand. In the first month after the surgery, hair must not be dyed. Since general anesthesia is to be applied, blood tests must be performed as before all general anesthesia. During the planning phase, the patient must inform his/her physician if s/he previously had surgery, chronic illness or diseases requiring long-term treatment.
After the neck plasty operation:The patient is discharged on the second day following the operation. The drain placed in the back of the ear to prevent fluid accumulation is taken the day after the operation. During this period, ice is placed on the surgical area to accelerate the recovery. The patient can take a bath in two days after discharge. However, harsh movements should be avoided while combing the hair, washing up and doing makeup. The patient may return to work one week after the surgery, but should avoid smoking, alcohol, sauna, housework and activities requiring high effort. The most important point is that you meticulously follow all the advice that the doctor will give you.

Will there be scars on my neck?
- Aesthetic suture is applied. Therefore, there is no visible scars. As the incision will remain behind the ear, although a tolerable scar remains, it is very difficult to notice from the outside.

Therefore, it is completed in a short period of 30 minutes. The patient can continue his/her daily life immediately after the procedure.
It can be performed in one session as well as in three sessions. After the examination with your doctor, the number of sessions is decided together. Ultrasonic neck pasty process continues to be effective between 1 and 3 years according to patient characteristics. However, this method is not usually applied in dense wrinkles and sagging. Ultrasonic sound waves have no harm to the person and no side effects are seen.
