What is facial mesotherapy?

Facial mesotherapy is performed by collecting a number of substances useful for the skin under one component and injecting this component to the skin with small needles. All the minerals, vitamins, collagen and protein substances required for the skin are included in the drug.

The facial mesotherapy allows the skin to regain its elasticity, to obtain a more flexible and shiny skin, to remove the complexions and fine wrinkles on the skin. It removes skin pigmentation changes and imbalances, prevents sagging, destroys the skin abiotrophy, prevents excessive lipoidosis of the skin and restores the skin’s damage against external factors. In facial mesotherapy, which is called skin rejuvenation process, a new structure is provided to every part of the face.

This practice works for every healthy male and female individual. People who should not be involved in the application include those who are allergic to one or more of the substances in the mesotherapy needle, pregnant women, nursing mothers, cancer patients, and heart patients requiring drug use. In addition, people with active infection on the skin are not treated.

Facial mesotherapy is not a risky application. As long as the person is not allergic to the substances used, there is no risk to the situation after the application. It is normal to have small and short bruises on the skin after application.

How is facial mesotherapy performed?

• Drug Preparation Phase
All the vitamins, minerals and collagen substances required for the skin are turned into a solution.
• Disinfecting Phase
The skin to be treated is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with special products.
• Implementation Phase
The drug mixture of vitamin and collagen is injected under the skin with small needles of 4 or 6 mm.
• Application Period

Facial mesotherapy is a procedure that lasts for 25-30 minutes. In mild cases, 15 minutes is sufficient.

Some anesthetic creams and solutions are applied before starting facial mesotherapy. Therefore, there is no painful feeling during the application. A very rare form of mesotherapy injections under the skin may cause a slight burning sensation.

It is applied at intervals of 1 and 4 weeks. Then, it is appropriate to perform a repeat session at 3 and 6 months.

The facial mesotherapy immediately shows its effect in the first session. However, in some more advanced cases and in the case of wrinkles, results can be seen after 2 and 3 sessions.
